Student Scholarships

JCAC recognizes the importance of nurturing the creative spirit and supporting opportunities for young artists to pursue careers in the arts. In partnership with Johnston Community College, JCAC awards two scholarships annually to assist local students studying in the arts field.

The applicant must have at least a 2.5 GPA, reside in Johnston County, and going into their second year in either the Associate in Fine Arts or the Advertising and Graphic Arts programs.

The scholarship application can be picked up at the Financial Aid office at Johnston Community College or can be downloaded using the Scholarship Application link.

The deadline is April 1st and awardees will be announced in early May.

Dana Baier, Benson Dana, a recent graduate of West Johnston High, is currently pursuing a two-year degree in Advertising and Graphic Design.
